EIA: Crude oil inventories in U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve drop to lowest since April 1986
LONDON, June 29 (Reuters) - Crude inventories on the U.S. Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) fell by 7 million barrels last week to 497.9 million barrels, the lowest since April 1986, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.
The EIA also noted that U.S. crude oil production rose by 100,000 bpd to 12.1 million bpd in the week ended June 24, the highest level since April 2020.
